SOLAR is the society for learning analytics research has some good resources and are working towards certifications.They have also published a proposal to design, implement and evaluate an open platform to integrate heterogeneous LA techniques, here. It has some interesting ideas in it, but also has a useful analysis of the types of analysis and benefits across the range of levels upon which it can be implemented, ranging from the student up to national and international federations.
This might provide us some opportunities for collaboration as we move forward in our own LA venture.
